An international terrorist, trained by one of the world's leading powers to do its darkest jobs, has a vendetta to settle. His thirst for revenge will bring two mighty armies into conflict
at the risk of nuclear armageddeon. Only America's most elite unit has any hope of tracking down this rogue agent and preventing the unthinkable from happening.
Play as the team leader of the secretive anti-terrorist unit Delta Force, in this campaign of deceit and betrayal, in an attempt to prevent an all out war.
Gambit Royale is a Delta Force special ops campaign revolving around the efforts to track down a terrorist known as Denmark. A ChDKZ loyalist for several years, Denmark is also a GRU trained spetsnaz operative that conducts unofficial missions for his employers. After unwittingly betraying his ChDKZ comrades, Denmark is forced to flee Chernarus and seeks revenge against both Russia and America through the help of a rogue Russian general, Leonid Zheldak. Delta Force must race against time to stop Denmark from unleashing nuclear devastation in Takistan that could provoke two mighty nations into nuclear oblivion.

I have made use of TPW's "foggy breath" script from the BIS forums to simulate cigarette smoke. The cigarette addon will continue to be optional as before, and don't worry he won't blow "smoke" unless the cigarette mod is loaded.
The idea to create Gambit Royale came about in the Spring of 2010. The opening title movie and the island prisoner mission were developed at the same time, and represent my first foray into Arma scripting and mission/movie building. As such, both had numerous bugs and rather chaotic scripting. The movie itself was originally an experiment in using the camera commands. Denmark's character was randomly created off the top of my head, and the first few versions occurred at the far end of the pier using music from Clint Eastwood's "A Fistful of Dollars." Once I realized that I had accidentally created some sort of Western theme with the way Denmark is dressed, I started developing other ideas that turned into a plot which I connected with the island prison mission. After mixing that with some ideas pulled from James Bond, I ended up with the plot to a full campaign. Version 1.5 of Gambit Royale will bring in some new techniques and effects that I have created over the past year, and will serve as an introduction to my next campaign Dark Tides.
